EXPOSURE FACTS

  • During the upcoming indoor soccer season, the East, West and South Soccer Centres, will record in excess of 750 000 people moving through the facility. An average of 40 000 per week.
  • 1 200 registered league teams (more than 20 000 participants) from ages 5 and up will play at our three indoor facilities this coming 2005/2006 season.
  • Soccer players and fans come from almost every community in Edmonton as well as the surrounding areas.
  • Soccer is by far Edmonton's (and Alberta's) largest participant sport.  Interest in both indoor and outdoor soccer is growing dramatically and will continue to rise.
  • Facilities are also used by numerous non-league soccer players, schools, lawn bowling, and other winter training activities. In the spring and summer months ball hockey, in-line hockey, lacrosse, summer camps, and special events take place in the facilities.
